With the Linear Motion Designer LF-MGE software, all users can now design Rexroth MGE linear guides easily and conveniently, ensuring a high level of system reliability.
Selecting the right guide bearing sizes and the optimum motor/gear combination are essential steps to optimize costs and guarantee a long service life for linear guides. Thanks to the Linear Motion Designer, Rexroth now offers a calculation software for the linear guides from its Basic Mechanical Elements range that will save you time and money during the planning, design, and construction phases.
After entering the process data for dynamics, masses, and forces, the software automatically calculates the service life of the individual guide bearings. Up to 16 guide bearings may be combined. The program checks the selected size and, if necessary, suggests axes with higher load-carrying capacities. The system also tells you the best way to combine the motor and gear to control your application. This calculation tool helps you to quickly and easily design your system, so that end users can integrate the linear guides into their applications in next to no time. A clear display of the entries and results, as well as the provided documentation, also ensure system reliability.
