CableEye® Testers offer Asymmetric, Absolute, and Percentage Tolerancing for Resistance Measurements

CAMI Research Inc. (Acton, MA) offers a comprehensive tolerancing option to its standard CableEye cable and harness testing system Graphical User Interface (GUI). The intuitive, graphic-rich GUI provides a clear simple operator interface and, for resistance measurements, may be user-set asymmetrically in either absolute or percentage parameters.

Comprehensive Tolerancing

A leader in development of PC-based Cable Wire Harness Test Systems for over 20 years, CAMI offers the CableEye suite of Low and High Voltage products complete with accessories. Users interact with any of its models through an identical GUI, as the systems are united by a common platform.

Needed, for example, for testing medical devices, single or dual (asymmetric) tolerances may be set in absolute or percentage terms for low voltage resistance measurement.

Compared to more constrained test parameters (e.g. ±10%), symmetric tolerancing (e.g. +0%/-10%) allows more product to accurately pass testing leading to greater profitability.

Test results show instantaneously as a netlist and schematic in the dynamic GUI and may be easily hidden from an operator that needs only pass/fail indicators.

Exacting Reporting Standards

CableEye software allows customers to meet the most exacting reporting requirements of government-contracted and ISO 9000-style certified companies … in seven languages.

Price Availability

This comprehensive tolerancing feature comes with the standard software shipped with any CableEye test system. Testers capable of measuring resistance start at $2195 (basic continuity testers start at $1,295). All new systems include CableEye's standard, renewable one year Warranty that is combined with free tech support and free software upgrades.
