SKOKIE, IL, February 12, 2001: McGill, a member of the EGS Electrical Group, today announced it is entering the cable management marketplace with the introduction of its new Tie-Max(R) line of cable ties, mounting bases and installation tools.
Tie-Max cable ties are available for mounting and non-mounting applications, in either standard or weather-resistant designs. Tensile strength ranges from 18 to 175 lbs., with cable lengths of 3.78-inches to 30-inches. In the mounting cables, tensile strength is 18 to 50 lbs., in cable lengths of 3.94-inches to 8.07-inches. Weather-resistant Tie-Max ties have Carbonate A
added to prolong their useful life. Carbonate A offers exceptional resistance to ultra violet rays, making the weather-resistant ties an ideal choice for high-exposure jobs.
