RS-101AC Auto Clamping
With the recent introduction of small diameter MC cables, Seatek Company decided to create a new Roto-Split, the RS-101AC Auto Clamping. This cutter was designed to accommodate the full range and type of BX, AC and MC cables from 14-2 to 10-4" and will also cut 3/8" Flex.
The RS-101AC features a new exclusive auto clamping lever with unique clamping stroke amplification. This patent pending design eliminates the slow thumb screw clamping adjustment needed for various cable sizes. Simply squeeze the lever to automatically clamp any size cable. Moreover, the RS-101AC clamping system prevents crushing softer aluminum casing.
In addition, this new labor saving tool has a moveable lever controlling the blade penetration to quickly switch from standard MC to new small diameter MC. This feature eliminates the use of different tools for different cables.
The RS-101AC includes a push button to properly locate small diameter MC in the channel. This button can be easily pushed back to cut standard MC cables
