Greenlee's New ES32 Cable Cutter Represents A Significant Advancement In Battery-Powered Tool Technology

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Greenlee today introduced the ES32, a new battery-powered cable cutter that features two-step scissors style-cutting blades that cut up to 500 kcmil (240 mm²) cable. Any electrician or installer who routinely cuts medium to large sized cables will find the ES32 to be a time and energy saving tool. It will contribute to reducing repetitive motion injuries for people who currently cut cable frequently with manual cutters.

When using the ES32 for cables less than 500 kcmil (240 mm²), simply put the cable as deep as possible between the blades and pull the trigger. When the cut is complete the tool will stop and the blades will automatically open for the next cut.
When cutting 500 kcmil (240 mm²) cable, the process requires two cycles. First, put the cable as deep as possible between the blades and pull the trigger. When the cycle is complete and the blades automatically open, move the cable deeper between the blades and pull the trigger again. This time when the cycle is complete the cable will be cut cleanly and completely.
