American Plumber's New Cabinet Water Softener Combines Style with Function

Sheboygan, WI, April 28, 2004 - American Plumber has introduced a new cabinet water softener to its line. The stylish cabinet has been created to appeal to a contractor's more appearance-conscious customer by sporting an attractive design that can fit into virtually any décor. In addition, when compared to timer models, the new demand-initiated cabinet water softener saves up to 50% on the cost of salt and water.

Dennis Young, American Plumber's Director of Sales, believes the new cabinet softener offers the best of both worlds.

"This is not just an attractive appliance; this is an attractive appliance that performs beautifully," said Young. "The mechanical meter version with two simple settings ensures that the softener automatically operates at maximum efficiency. In addition, our new cabinet softener has been designed to initiate regeneration only when needed, which saves both salt and water," he said. Young went on to note that the new softener has an internal bypass that automatically provides water during the regeneration process.

Made of molded plastic, the cabinet softener requires only 8.43 cubic feet of space. The attractive 13"W x 22"D x 45"H cabinet holds up to 225 pounds of salt.

"For homeowners, our new cabinet softener offers many of the advantages of our other water softeners," said Young. "It reduces mineral deposits, iron-staining, scale build-up, soap film and water spots on pans, glassware, sinks and tubs. It extends the useful life of water-using household appliances by as much as 30%. And it saves on soaps and detergents, providing greater washing power while reducing the amount needed by 70%," Young remarked. "Contractors will be well served by our new cabinet softener as well," he added. "We've designed the softener to offer easy, quick installation, user-friendly service features and low, easy maintenance," he said. "All in all, our new American Plumber cabinet softener has something for everyone," Young added.
