New Bud Cabinet Supports Either 19" or 23" Widths; Saves Floor Space; Reduces Inventory Costs
CLEVELAND - July 22, 2002 - Bud Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer of electronic enclosures, has introduced a new low-cost 19"/23" Equipment Cabinet Rack; model number DC-8010. The cabinet rack allows customers to purchase, stock, and configure only one cabinet for all 19" and 23" panel width equipment installations. The panel mounting rail design allows the user to determine which panel width is required at the time of actual installation and eliminates expensive floor plan and equipment layouts to accommodate various cabinets for various equipment widths. Four panel mounting rails come with the cabinet and extras can be ordered. Cabinets can also be converted to a 24" panel width with the purchase of optional panel mounting rails.
These sturdy all-welded steel frame cabinets come in the most popular panel height of 78.75" with the overall height of 84", which is industry standard. The width of the cabinet is 27" and the overall depth is 30.75". The neutral sand texture cabinet weighs 256 lbs. and has a 1200 lb. equipment load capacity.
There is maximum cooling through natural convection via louvered front and rear doors and a ventilated top. Electronics will be kept secure by key lockable front and rear doors. Included with the cabinet is one POS-194-S surge suppressed power outlet strip. Unlike some competitor's cabinets, Bud's cabinet has four cable access ports in the top of the cabinet along with one 9.56" square cable access hole in the bottom. These cabinets will accommodate most manufacturers' hubs, routers and other communication equipment.
