1250ºF Electric High-Temperature Cabinet Oven

No. 995 is an electrically-heated, 1250ºF (~670ºC) high-temperature cabinet oven from Grieve, currently used for preheating steel forgings at the customer's facility. Workspace dimensions in this oven measure 20" W x 40" D x 20" H. 60 KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber, while a 2000 CFM, 2HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload. Specially designed to handle high-temperature operation, this Grieve cabinet oven features 10" thick insulated walls, comprising 2" of 1900ºF block and 8" of 10 lb./cf density rockwool, plus Type 304, 2B stainless steel interior, motor-operated vertical lift door and alloy roller rails at the workspace floor level, rated for 1500 lb. loading.
