Networking PC Cabinet Houses and Protects Remote Site PC's

Anoka, MN-February 20, 2003- Hoffman has designed a new Type 1 networking PC cabinet that can house remote personal computers used for data entry or LAN or WAN access. With value-pricing and off-the-shelf availability, the networking PC cabinet offers a convenient way to safeguard and protect valuable PC equipment. The cabinet features welded steel construction with smooth
corners, a flush mounted safety glass window, flush doors and a durable black finish. The unit will hold a personal computer, monitor, keyboard and printer and is ideally suited for light industrial, warehouse, distribution and assembly applications.

The PC cabinet is divided into three lockable sections for controlled access. The upper section has ample space for a large monitor and features a large viewing window. The middle section consists of a sliding keyboard and mouse tray. The lower section accommodates a CPU, shelves and printer, or 19" rack mount equipment.

The cabinet is designed to draw cold air from the floor via an open base and louvers in the bottom quarter of the rear door and exhaust hot air through an optional 6-inch fan in the top. This creates a "chimney effect" which supplies currents of cool air to internally mounted equipment.

The PC cabinet streamlines remote network access PC set-up with pre-punched levelers and holes for optional casters, a cable entry port in the top and an adjustable gland plate with stain relief at the bottom rear of the cabinet for easy, secure cable entry.
