Cabinet Cooler minimizes air use.

Press Release Summary:

ETC electronic temperature control keeps electrical enclosures cool. It maintains temperature within +/- 1 deg F of dial setting and minimizes compressed air use by permitting higher temperature setting of thermostat. When selected temperature is exceeded, cooler circulates 20 deg F air through enclosure. Cooling capacities up to 2800 Btu/hr. are available. Applications include cooling CNC panels, computer cabinets, programmable controllers, and drives.

ETC Cabinet Cooler Minimizes Air Use

EXAIR's new ETC (Electronic Temperature Control) Cabinet Cooler keeps electrical enclosures cool while accurately maintaining the temperature within ±1 deg F of the dial setting. Precise control minimizes compressed air use by permitting a higher temperature setting of the thermostat. ETC can maintain a constant temperature slightly under the maximum rating of the electronics.

ETC incorporates a platinum resistance sensor along with solid state circuitry that detects the slightest change in temperature. When the selected temperature setting is exceeded, the Cabinet Cooler circulates 20 deg F air through the electrical enclosure to prevent high temperature malfunction. The large LCD readout provides a visual display of the internal temperature of the electrical enclosure. ETC is manufactured of a strong ABS plastic with a clear polycarbonate door that latches securely for use in NEMA 4, 4X and 12 environments.

The ETC Cabinet Cooler System installs in minutes through a standard electrical knockout. All systems include an automatic drain filter separator to insure that no moisture passes to the inside of the electrical enclosure. Cooling capacities up to 2800 Btu/hr. are available. Applications include cooling CNC panels, computer cabinets, programmable controllers, and variable speed drives. For more information contact:
