C-Tech Industries Announces Sale of InLine Cleaning Systems

C-Tech Industries, North America's largest manufacturer of industrial high-pressure cleaning equipment, has announced the sale of its customized conveyor parts washer line marketed under the brand name of InLine Cleaning Systems.
C-Tech CEO Andy Gale made the announcement today explaining that, "pass-through, automatic aqueous parts washers no longer fit within the C-Tech core business model due to the level of customization required in this niche market." Gale said the product line is still very viable, posting record sales in 2006, and will continue to be sold by the new owners under the InLine Cleaning Systems name.
New InLine owners are Mike Allen, owner of Water Works Midwest, a dealer of Karcher-Cuda parts washers (a C-Tech-owned brand of stationary aqueous parts washers), and Paul Rossomme, owner of Engineering & Industrial Services, a manufacturer of custom manufacturing equipment. Both owners are located in the Indianapolis, Indiana area, where InLine is now headquartered.
The new owners have indicated they will focus their marketing on customized conveyor parts washers throughout North America.
The sale included the brand name, website URL, customer list and some equipment. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
C-Tech Industries, with headquarters in Camas, Washington, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alfred Karcher GmbH & Co. of Winnenden, Germany. C-Tech Industries has more than 600 employees with factories in Camas, WA, Springdale, AR, Calumet, MI, Monterrey, Mexico and Reggio Emilia, Italy.
C-Tech Industries manufactures industrial and commercial pressure washers, aqueous parts washers and water treatment systems under various brand names, including Hotsy, Landa, Karcher, Shark and Water Maze. The company also owns Spraymart, the largest aftermarket parts distributor in the high-pressure cleaning industry.
