Line of Council Pro 400 Series C-Clamps Available in High-Visibility Safety Color
LAKE WACCAMAW, NC - July 2005 - A line of Council Pro 400 Series C-clamps is available in a high-visibility safety color from The Council Tool Company.
Designed in a versatile and popular clamp style, the clamps are offered in a range of sizes from 2" to 12", with frame test loads ranging from 3300 to 9500 minimum pounds.
The line of Council Pro 400 Series C-clamps features a forged high-carbon steel frame to ensure safe and secure clamping. A carbon steel screw with Acme threads is roll-threaded to provide more clamping force with less torque. A sliding T-handle allows for easy tightening.
To provide a firm workholding contact, a smooth swivel pad is securely attached to the screw. In addition, its large anvil provides greater contact area. For protection against the build up of welding splatter and debris, the C-clamp's threaded screw is copper plated.
