VCO: CRO6600Z Features Ultra Low Phase Noise
SAN DIEGO, January 26, 2009: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO6600Z in C-band. The CRO6600Z operates from 6590-6610 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -102 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 18 MHz/V.
The CRO6600Z is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 150 mA (typical, due to the doubler) over the temperature range of 0º to 85º C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -50 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard VCO-24H package measuring 0.866 in. x 0.630 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO6600Z is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
