C-band VCO: V965ME04-LF Features Low Phase Noise



SAN DIEGO, August 26, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V965ME04-LF in C-band. The V965ME04-LF operates from 6500-6550 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -85 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 100 MHz/V.

The V965ME04-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of -2.5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -19 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package with low shield measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.13 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V965ME04-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
