Bystronic Presented The Byjet Waterjet, The PR Series Press Brake and Byvision Control at Westec
(Hauppauge, NY) Bystronic showcased the Byjet 3015 waterjet cutting system, the PR Series press brake and the new ByVision Control user interface at WESTEC 2006. The Byjet with its available shuttle table delivers a significant increase in productivity over standalone systems; for even greater productivity, the system offers up to 4 HPT cutting heads. The Bypump APC intensifier produces a consistent and infinitely variable pressure without the use of a pressure attenuator. In conjunction with the standard height sensing feature, the Byjet produces parts with minimal kerf angles without the need for tilting heads to compensate for taper. The system's available rotary-axis (unique to the waterjet market) provides exceptional processing flexibility by opening multiple fields of tube cutting applications.
To much acclaim, the PR Series press brake was shown with its trademark Integrated Process Control (IPC) technology. This processing solution provides fast and precise springback compensation and thickness measurement for the processing of a wide range of materials.
Also presented was Bystronic's revolutionary user interface, ByVision Control. With a full 15-inch touch screen, users are able to quickly maneuver through screen selections for easy setup and operation. The operator is seamlessly guided through the setup and production process. The ByVision user interface operates within a Windows XP® professional platform.
