ByAutonom 3015 Laser Cutting Machine Introduced to North American Market during Recent Open House Event

Elgin, IL — Bystronic Inc. introduced the award-winning ByAutonom 3015 laser cutting machine to the North American Market during their Open House June 5th and 6th. The two day event was attended by over 250 people and featured not only the introduction of ByAutonom, but also demonstrations on the latest precision laser cutting, waterjet cutting and bending equipment recently introduced by Bystronic. The two day event was capped by a Bystronic golf outing event at the Bowes Creek Country Club in Elgin on June 7th.

Developed from the beginning as a machine that operates autonomously, ByAutonom, in combination with an automation system such as the ByTrans, ByTower or ByCell, can be operated lightly-manned. With ByAutonom, the labor tasks associated with laser setups and manned operations are significantly reduced. Users have the option of incorporating the ByLaser 4400 or ByLaser 6000 watt CO2 laser sources. They also have the option of a rotary axis for the processing of tube profiles.

"The ByAutonom simply cuts more parts and works reliably. Higher output means that the cost per part is reduced," explains Johan Elster, President of Bystronic Business Units. "Furthermore, The ByAutonom looks simply fantastic." The ByAutonom was awarded the prestigious MM award in the Cutting category at the 2012 EuroBLECH trade show in Germany.
