BWIR and Vanguard Form a Strategic Partnership to Deliver Graphical Performance Series (GPS)(TM) BI Solutions for Mid Market Manufacturing Companies
ST. LOUIS - Oct. 23, 2007 - Barry-Wehmiller International Resources (BWIR) and Vanguard Business Analytics (a division of Exact Software) have introduced EnsureBI, a BI implementation program resulting in assured BI performance for Mapics XA(TM) & SyteLine users.
BWIR, a division of Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc. with more than one decade of consulting services in the discrete manufacturing industry, will leverage their new partnership with Vanguard to uniquely position BWIR to expand its BI service offerings to its Enterprise Systems customers , thus adding true value to these customers , who will now gain added benefit from BWIR's offerings, in addition to the professional consulting and implementation service offerings of Infor XA (Mapics XA), Infor SyteLine & Infor LN (Baan) ERP Solutions.
The Vanguard GPS BI solution is in use by many XA customers today. It has been delivered to XA customers by MAPICS® as MAPICS Analytics(TM), and also delivered directly by Vanguard as GPS. It features extensive integration to XA, allowing robust analytic and reporting capabilities.
One reason why GPS has been so widely adopted by XA customers is that its Direct Access(TM) design requires much less IT maintenance than other BI solutions, which are often based on data mart or warehouse technology.
