Oaktree Systems Releases communitEbuilder for Nonprofits

CALVERTON, N.Y., April 10 -- Oaktree Systems is pleased to announce the release of communitEbuilder, its next-generation system developed in response to demand for a comprehensive platform to manage multi-channel revenue development.

Evolved from what were once defined as CRM or database systems, communitEbuilder is a sophisticated work and information center designed to be used by every revenue-generating or revenue-involved staffer and manager in a nonprofit organization.

With communitEbuilder all direct mail, gift, online and event databases are integrated into a single work and information center. Web-accessed, this is a multi-location, multi-user capable system. When everyone works in one system, nonprofits reduce the cost of development by eliminating waste, duplication of effort and overlap of prospects. This new coordination leads to increases in productivity and the results of revenue-generating activities.

"There are many systems available in this market, but we have not seen any that offers the sophistication, breadth of features, quality and range of tools to satisfy direct mail, gift, online and event staffs, or the reporting and querying capability of this system. Nor is there anything else that provides management a real-time window into their organization's revenue generation activities," said John Carroll, Oaktree Systems' CEO.

communitEbuilder was developed with four key requirements in mind. First, it must be user-friendly and easy to use. Second, it must provide a single work center that everyone in a nonprofit organization can use. Gift officers testing the system discovered it is easier to use and has more features than the popular fundraising software with which they were experienced.

Third, it must be flexible. The system is feature-rich and comprehensive. It has numerous specialized modules available for things like memorials and events. It also accepts new custom modules to meet client requirements. Scalable, it manages files with 15,000 to 10+ million records with exceptional system performance. It enables organizations the ability to grow into new revenue areas with no system expense.

Fourth is Web optimization. Written in .NET on an MS-SQL platform it uses a multi-tiered architecture with a DALC (data access layer component) that standardizes instruction and optimizes search time, yielding exceptional processing speed.

communitEbuilder is in use and available for Web demonstrations by appointment. No special software, hardware, or technical expertise is required. Conversion experts, we have a zero downtime conversion policy. Call for an appointment or visit http://www.oaktreesys.com/
