Bulk Bag Filler features cantilevered fill head.

Press Release Summary:

Bulk Bag Filler offers pneumatically retractable bag hooks, inflatable connector to seal bag inlet spout, and feed-chute vent for dust-free air displacement during filling. Fill-head height adjustment accommodates popular bag sizes. Unit can be mounted on load cells to measure weight gain of entire bulk bag filler, or arranged with weigh hoppers suspended above for higher filling rates through simultaneous recharging of hopper and replacement of bag.

Cantilevered Bulk Bag Filler

A new Bulk Bag Filler with cantilevered fill head is offered with performance options including: a roller conveyor; inflator to expand the bag prior to filling; automated vibratory densification/deaeration system to stabilize the bag; and material delivery system integrated with the user's process equipment or bulk storage vessels.

Introduced by Flexicon Corporation, the unit features: a cantilevered fill head with powered fill head height adjustment that accommodates all popular bag sizes; pneumatically retractable bag hooks; an inflatable connector to seal the bag inlet spout; and a feed chute vent for dust-free air displacement during filling.

The filler is also offered with the company's own flexible screw conveyor delivery system integrated with the user's upstream process equipment or other material source. The conveyor system reportedly delivers a full range of free- and non-free-flowing materials and blended products with the consistency and capacity needed for rapid bag filling, and the steady dribble-feed rates required for accurate weighments.

Two configurations are offered: with filler mounted on load cells to measure weight gain of the entire bulk bag filler; and with weigh hoppers suspended above the filler, allowing higher filling rates through simultaneous recharging of the hopper and replacement of the bag.

All system components are available constructed to industrial, food, dairy and pharmaceutical standards.
