Spiroflow Systems Introduces Loss-in-Weight Bulk Bag Discharger
Charlotte, North Carolina---A new Loss-In-Weight Bulk Bag Discharger designed for single or multiple unit application has been introduced by Spiroflow Systems, Inc., a Charlotte, NC based powder handling manufacturer.
The Spiroflow Type 3 Bulk Bag Discharger, a European engineered
design places sensitive loss-in-weight load cells between the top bag holding frame and the lower chute assembly. Competing loss-in-weight dischargers often locate the load cells directly on the floor where they can easily be damaged by dirt and forklift collisions. Spiroflow's versatile design eliminates the probability of load cell damage and faulty scale readings.
The Type 3 Discharger is also available with patented "Y" Yoke Bar Bag Spout Closures, bag stretching arms and pneumatic bag massagers. The Yoke bar closure ensures the bag neck is fully closed during the tying and untying of the bag spout. The Spiroflow bag stretching arms lengthen and keep the bag tensioned as more powder is discharged. The lengthening reduces residual powder, thus reducing waste.
Spiroflow's pneumatic bag massagers gently promote powder flow with little or no degradation.
Spiroflow's in-house engineering department provides controls that tie directly into an existing PLC or can be used as a standalone unit. The discharger is available in carbon steel, stainless steel, and a USDA Dairy model.
