Teletrol Releases New Internet-Powered eBuilding BAS Software



Manchester, New Hampshire (February 7, 2003) - Teletrol Systems Inc., an industry leader in building automation technology, has announced the release of its newest version of eBuilding,(tm) an internet-powered, BACnet compliant, IT-friendly building automation system. This release includes improvements in scheduling, alarm management, trending, and extended support for multiple sites. These changes are designed to enhance eBuilding's ability to provide an integrated infrastructure for controlling building environments and conserving energy.

The eBuilding v1.1 release provides powerful new functionality with a common navigation menu between Facility pages and Envoy Explorer for integrated site management, the ability to quickly generate a complete web-based graphics system for a facility, scheduling information built immediately in web pages in easy-to-understand formats, and immediate alarm notification via on-screen alerts and system delivered email or page notification to facility personnel. This release includes new versions of eBuilding's software components Envoy(tm) and Edifice(tm). Envoy provides an interactive interface via web browser for monitoring facility systems and equipment, and records and provides runtime data for reporting. Edifice is an integrated software package that allows eBuilding users to configure, modify, and utilize their eBuilding system. BACnet(r) compliant, this powerful software suite also allows configuration and program files to be stored in internet-standard XML format.

The eBuilding internet-powered facility automation system v1.1 will be available January 31, 2003 through Teletrol's Authorized Systems Integrators worldwide.
