Buckeye Shapeform's Flex-I-Pak and XPAND-A® Series Offer Sizeable Customization

Clients can tailor different heights, widths and depths for enclosures

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Buckeye Shapeform's Flex-I-Pak and XPAND-A® series of enclosures provide customers with a multitude of sizing options for clients across all industries that need customized enclosures.

The Flex-I-Pak aluminum enclosures are ideal for rackmount and deskmount applications and come in an EIA 17" standard width, six standard heights and three standard depths. They can be assembled without the front, rear, top and bottom panels to allow for easy access when installing components. The enclosure is constructed from sturdy aluminum with durable, clear anodized trim and vinyl clad top and bottom panels (blue or black standard). A screw-in back panel is standard, with optional screw-in front panel.

The XPAND-A® Series expands upon the versatility of the Flex-I-Pak. It is the only "standard" Buckeye enclosure that can truly be made to any height, width, and depth. This attractive case line is best for both desk and handheld applications. The case utilizes only one extrusion that forms the top and bottom and the sides of the top, bottom and side panel assemblies. The balance of the case is flat sheet metal stock. The extrusions can be cut to infinite lengths and the sheet metal can be sheared to infinite lengths and widths. As truly custom enclosures, there are no standard sizes or finishes. It is ideal for smaller to medium size case requirements. Buckeye Shapeform can provide custom finishing (plating and painting), punching, ventilation and single and multi-color silk screening.

"Different companies across various industries find that the durability, versatility and professional look of the aluminum enclosures in the Flex-I-Pak and XPAND-A® series are the perfect solutions to their particular product needs and specifications," said Ken Tumblison, Buckeye Shapeform president. "Buckeye Shapeform designers and engineers are always ready to produce the best quality and best looking enclosures with great customer satisfaction."
