Innovative Electronic Designs, Inc (IED) is an innovator of state-of-the-art commercial audio management systems for facilities such as the Pentagon, Kennedy Space Center, O'Hare and LaGuardia International Airports and Louisiana Superdome. Because of the complexity of IED's announcement control system designs, finding customized enclosures to house them was challenging-until the company contacted Buckeye Shapeform in 1991.

Buckeye Shapeform is committed and accustomed to meeting customers' specific needs, so developing completely customized enclosures for IED's 500 Announcement Control Systems for the last 17 years, has been nothing new for Buckeye Shapeform's expert designers.
Since an off-the-shelf enclosure did not suit IED's initial product need, Buckeye Shapeform created an AutoCAD drawing from the specifications provided by IED and generated eight basic, yet completely unique, enclosure parts that are assembled on demand as IED customers place orders. When the final enclosures are assembled, they resemble Buckeye Shapeform's catalog card cage enclosures, but include Plexiglas doors with hinges-an accessory Buckeye Shapeform designs special for IED.
In addition, as IED's product evolves, they call on Buckeye Shapeform for custom fabricated parts, such as front and rear panels, to enhance their existing product, which is typically a monthly request.
Now, any OEM can start with a standard enclosure or customize to suit their needs.
