Buckeye Shapeform Accommodates Spirent Communications' Component Challenges

As a leading provider of testing solutions and service management tools for major communications companies, Spirent Communications, has relied on Buckeye Shapeform for its expertise in enclosure manufacturing for over a decade.

Spirent's most recent project required Buckeye Shapeform to customize an enclosure for a computer network testing machine, the EV-DO Network Emulator. While challenged by a tight deadline over the December holiday season and Spirent's needs for the enclosure to fit around a key component built by a third-party manufacturer, Buckeye Shapeform was determined to uphold its reputation for delivering quality, customized products and accommodating its customers during every stage of the process. After analyzing Spirent's needs, Buckeye Shapeform's team determined that the VersaFlex enclosure , Buckeye Shapeform's most versatile and customizable enclosure, would be the best solution for enclosing Spirent's existing component while still providing a functional space for the EV-DO Network Emulator.

During the final stage of the project, Spirent's third-party manufacturer announced the discontinuation of its component and launched a new product in its place. To resolve this unexpected change and provide Spirent with a functional product despite the redundant steps in the process, Buckeye Shapeform redesigned the VersaFlex enclosure to encompass the new component and delivered the final product in less than six weeks.

"From beginning to end, Buckeye Shapeform worked hard to make the process as simple as possible. The lines of communication were always open. They were always quick to respond and notify us of any scheduling challenges they foresaw. They did everything in their power to get the job done, which is rare in our industry. I would highly recommend Buckeye Shapeform."
