BTU to Exhibit at the International Touch Panel and Optical Film Exhibition

NORTH BILLERICA, Mass.- BTU International (Nasdaq: BTUI), a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment to the alternative energy and electronics manufacturing markets, today announced that it will exhibit in Booth L004 at the upcoming International Touch Panel and Optical Film Exhibition at the Taipei World Trade Centre Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taiwan from August 29-31, 2012.

"With rapidly growing demand and falling prices for touch displays, manufacturers need to scale-up and are looking to in-line manufacturing as an enabling technology," said Jan-Paul van Maaren, Ph.D., vice president of marketing at BTU International. "BTU's in-line furnaces are leaders in thermal performance and reliability, resulting in higher throughput and yield while lowering costs for display manufacturers."

With well over 1,000 units shipped, the tFire(TM) is the tool of choice for customers who demand world-class yield and reliability. BTU tFire(TM) furnaces provide reduced power usage by allowing for rapid startup and cool-down between use. These systems, with a complete set of options, provide excellent atmosphere flow for binder removal in dielectric and metallization firing, along with precision temperature control. In addition to the standard air atmosphere configuration, the tFire(TM) is available for nitrogen processing, maintaining purity as low as 2 ppm oxygen.
