BS&B Wireless, L.L.C Announces Class I, Division 1 Approval Awarded to SmartDisk® Wireless Monitoring System


New Design Meets Requirements for Hazardous Areas Even When
Combustible Gases or Vapors are Present During Normal Operating Conditions.

TULSA, Okla. - Dec. 06, 2006 - BS&B Wireless, L.L.C announces that the SmartDisk® Wireless Monitoring System has been certified Intrinsically Safe for Class I, Division 1 applications. This allows the battery powered SmartDisk transmitters to be installed virtually anywhere in an industrial facility.

The BS&B SmartDisk System is designed for monitoring pressure relief devices which are often installed in hazardous environments. This new approval allows SmartDisk to be applied whenever rupture disks, relief valves, tank vents, buckling pin valves or explosion vents may be fitted with sensors to annunciate their activation.
