Brushless Torque Actuators eliminate axial travel.

Press Release Summary:

With maximum of 35° rotary stroke, Series 4EX BTA® allows users to tailor output to satisfy specific application needs. Actuators provide high starting torque as well as high ending torque, which can be useful for power reduction after energizing to hold solenoid in energized state. Low bounce makes actuators suited for high-speed sorting and material handling applications.

New Brushless Torque Actuators Offer High Starting and Ending Torque

VANDALIA, OH - Saia-Burgess USA introduces the new 4EX BTA® Series Brushless Torque Actuator. These actuators feature a maximum of 35-degree rotary stroke, allowing users to easily tailor output to satisfy specific application needs. They provide low bounce for improved positional accuracy and high-speed operation. This makes them an ideal solution in applications where end-bounce is undesirable, such as high speed sorting and material handling, among others.

Due to a newly patented internal design, the 4EX BTA provides high starting torque as well as high ending torque that can be a useful tool for power reduction after energizing, to hold the solenoid in an energized state. Their design eliminates axial travel often associated with conventional rotary actuators to eliminate loading on associated mechanical linkages. It also reduces the number of moving parts and the associated wear.
