New Baldor Brushless Servos Provide 50% More Torque



Baldor Electric Company, Fort Smith, Arkansas based manufacturer of energy saving industrial electric motors, drives and generators, announces new Brushless servos, the BSM C-series. The new BSM C-series servomotors provide the highest torque, packaged in the smallest size available to industry. BSM C-series servomotors provide 50% more continuous torque because of newly redesigned package sizes and components.

Baldor's new servo line, the BSM C-series, provides machine designers and users with a positive solution for torques ranging from 20 lb-in (2.4 N-m) to 200 lb-in (22 N-m) with wide speed capability and medium inertia. A variety of feedback devices are available, including resolvers, encoders, and absolute position encoders. Several models are available for immediate delivery from stock and custom designs are also available.

The BSM C-series of servo motors can be Performance Matched(TM) with Baldor's digital servo drives to provide optimum application performance. Setup choices include easy-to-use keypad (23H series) or Wizard Windows(TM) (FlexII series). Both families of controls provide ease in setup, and auto-tuning.
