Baldor Announces New Brushless Servo



Baldor Electric Company, Fort Smith, Arkansas based manufacturer of energy saving industrial electric motors, drives, power transmission products and generators, announces a new high power brushless servo motor. The new BSM132 has the capability to reach 20 horsepower (14.5 Kw) and can be expanded to 34 horsepower (25 Kw) with optional blower cooling. BSM132 servo motors provide continuous stall torque from 620 lb-in (70Nm) to 1060 lb-in (120Nm) and speed capability to 5000 rpm for applications needing faster positioning.
