Servo Magnetics Inc. - Canoga Park, CA- the new 000-0358 high performance brushless DC frameless motor from Servo Magnetics Inc. is designed for low voltage applications where a high acceleration, high torque motor is required at low speeds. At 48 volts, this motor operates at 200 rpm and comfortably delivers 600 oz-in of torque with an efficiency of 80%. When called upon, it is capable of delivering a burst of stall torque up to 1,300 oz-in. This is accomplished in a compact 6.5" diameter by 2" length. Having been designed for a precise, powerful, low speed servo application, care has been taken to minimize cogging torque. High-energy, high-temperature, rare-earth magnets are utilized, making it suitable for use in applications where demanding temperatures are found. A variety of electrical and mechanical options are available including windings for specific power requirements, drive-specific commutation and custom mounting configurations.
