Advanced Features Incorporated Into Upgraded WINDJAMMER® Blower Family
KENT, OHIO, USA - AMETEK Rotron Technical and Industrial Products has introduced its premium line of WINDJAMMER(TM) Series brushless blowers with the latest electronic control technology.
The new Intelligen WINDJAMMER design retains the key features of the original WINDJAMMER brushless DC (BLDC) blower. Newly added features allow designers both increased flexibility for direct customization by application and a more precise control system.
The new Intelligen WINDJAMMER premium BLDC blower incorporates a state-of-the-art microprocessor control, integrated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) and digital signal processor (DSP) technology that allows for real-time fault monitoring and programmable performance and permits extended design capabilities.
Enhancements to microprocessor control ensure flexibility and performance. A robust gate-drive dedicated to the IGBT provides for reliable low-speed operation, while its voltage surge protection offers enhanced protection from voltage surges. Among its intelligent monitoring and protection features are over voltage and under voltage (power dip) protection, short circuit protection, and fault indication LED for easy trouble shooting.
Customized options available include serial communications interface, logic outputs/inputs, external pressure/ flow sensor, and internal differential pressure sensor. The blower's speed control and flow/pressure flow control options can be tailored to a specific application as long as they are within the blower and DSP's specification range.
The Intelligen WINDJAMMER® premium blower series is suitable for wide range of applications, including premix HVAC systems and printing equipment and is available in 120 or 240 VAC operation.
