Johnson Electric Launches High Power Electric Power Steering Motor



Industry’s Highest Power & Lowest Cogging Brush EPS Motor



Hong Kong – Johnson Electric today announced a powerful motor platform for automotive electric power steering.  This EPS series motor platform provides the industry’s highest steering power and lowest cogging torque through innovative brush motor technology. It delivers 20% higher steering power and 10% lower cogging torque in comparison with existing brush motor technology.  The motor weight is also reduced 10% to improve fuel economy.



Johnson Electric’s EPS series brush motor platform employs innovative design features to generate the industry highest steering power, while maintain low cogging torque that is comparable to the brushless EPS motor technology.
