Broadcast Pix Announces Partnership with Virtualsetworks to Offer High Quality Virtual Sets

Billerica, Massachusetts – Broadcast Pix™ today announced a technology partnership with Virtualsetworks, which offers an extensive library of virtual sets. Through the partnership, customers will be able to search the company's catalog from the Broadcast Pix Web site. Broadcast Pix will showcase several Virtualsetworks virtual sets during the 2014 NAB Show (Booth SL6325), which runs April 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nev.

As part of the Fluent™ integrated toolset, all Broadcast Pix integrated production switchers include virtual set chromakey technology that works with green screen or blue screen backgrounds. Systems ship with a number of preloaded virtual sets, as well as a virtual set editor that allows users to create a virtual set using any picture. Virtualsetworks offers a variety of affordable themed virtual sets, including news, sports, game shows, courtrooms, living spaces and more. Virtual sets can be purchased individually or in collections, and custom set design is also available.

"The need for high quality virtual set solutions is a must have for our customers, and Virtualsetworks is a great fit," said Steve Ellis, general manager, Broadcast Pix. "With this technology partnership, our customers have easy access to a broader array of virtual sets and post-production applications."

"Our company has a wide variety of very high quality virtual sets," added Eric Pratt, president of Virtualsetworks, "and I believe they are a perfect companion to Broadcast Pix's amazing product lineup."
