Deckel Grinders Adds Karl Klink Broaching Machine Line
November 15, 2001.Deckel Grinders, Inc., the exclusive sales and service organization for Michael Deckel grinding equipment, has added the Karl Klink broaching machine line to serve the North American market. The Karl Klink ARS 2000 automatic Broach Sharpening Machine features newly designed grinding head with 2-axis capabiltiy providing optmium positioning for the resharpening of round, flat and helical broaches.
All axis are driven by maintenance-free SERVO 3-phase motors. The position of each axis is controlled by HEIDENHAIN glass scales which continually calculate grinding head position, eliminating need to reposition or return to a zero position reference point for increased efficiency and faster throughput. The broach carrier slide utilizes roller bearings guided in a V-type flat guidance mechanism. All other guideways as well as the roller spindle are mounted backlash-free and pre-stressed for high precision operation.The machine is designed for use of Borazon and Diamond grinding wheels.
