Bring Your Photos to ILASS Americas 2010

Calling all Malvern 2600 users!

10 May 2010: Malvern, UK: Thirty years since the launch of the 2600, Malvern Instruments' first laser diffraction particle size analyzer capable of routine, rapid spray droplet size measurements, the company wants to contact all those users who are still successfully using the system for spray analysis. For the chance to win an iPAD, users are invited to bring a photo of their 2600 in use to the Malvern booth at ILASS-AMERICAS 2010 (May 16-19, Cincinnati, Ohio) or at ILASS Europe 2010 (6- 8th September, Brno, Czech Republic). Users who are not attending these conferences can post photos to 2600@malvern.com.

In the course of more than a quarter of a century in spray research, Malvern has pioneered developments in both the technology of spray measurement using laser diffraction and its applications. Today this expertise is embodied in the Spraytec, a robust, versatile laser diffraction particle size analyzer that is dedicated to spray measurement. With a data acquisition rate of up to 10kHz, a very broad dynamic range (0.1 to 2000 microns) and a patented multiple scattering algorithm for measurement at high concentrations, Spraytec delivers real-time characterization for product optimization and QC. Fuel injectors, agrochemical nozzles, inhaled pharmaceuticals and coating systems are just a few of the many applications for which Spraytec offers a unique solution.

Easy instrument configuration and a wide optical working range make the characterization of any spray system straightforward, while integral software provides effective data analysis, making it easier to detect and understand the source of any variability in atomisation performance.

Bring along your 2600 photos and see the Spraytec in action on the Malvern Instruments booth at ILASS Americas and ILASS Europe. www.malvern.com
