MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. – Bradley Corp., the industry leader in designing premiere hand washing solutions for public facilities, has won two 2015 New Product of the Year Awards presented by School Planning Management and College Planning Management magazines for the company’s new Express® ELX-Series Lavatory System. The Express ELX-Series incorporates a single bowl, multi-user lavatory design that is easy to install and maintain, while offering contoured styling and personal hand washing space.
Recognized with a Gold Award in the Plumbing: Restroom/Locker Room Category, the Express ELX-Series was selected by an independent panel of judges from the industry who selected 32 winners in the inaugural year of the contest. A complete listing of 2015 winners is listed at www.spaces4learning.com.
The New Product of the Year Awards program honors the outstanding product development achievements of manufacturers and suppliers whose products or services are considered particularly noteworthy in helping to improve the learning environment.
School Planning Management and College Planning Management are leading information resources for those charged with planning, designing, constructing, equipping, operating and maintaining the physical learning environment.
Express ELX-Series’ multi-user design earns high marks
A step up from ordinary lavatories – and a contemporary alternative to china sinks and laminate counter tops – the Express ELX-Series is a cost-effective fixture that is easy to specify, install, clean, and maintain. With the look and feel of an individual lav, this streamlined hand washing system provides the economies and conveniences of a group fixture, which accommodates up to three people at one time.
Made of Bradley’s Terreon® Solid Surface material, the Express ELX-Series Lavatory offers superior durability and is easy to repair. In addition, its contemporary contoured design elevates the look of commercial restrooms while being easy to clean. The bowl’s seamless construction eliminates mold and delamination, offering a more hygienic and attractive washroom solution.
Due to its long-term durability and simplified maintenance qualities, the ELX-Series is a cost-effective choice for high-traffic washroom applications, such as schools, retail, recreation centers, municipal office buildings and transit stations.
The Express ELX-Series Lavatory also cuts down on installation time and costs, and requires few connections and parts. It incorporates a unique mounting plate for faster installation, and requires only a single drain and supply rough-in for new construction, or for an easily installed retrofit.
“It is an honor to receive the New Product of the Year Award for the Express ELX-Series,” said Jon Dommisse, director of global marketing and strategic development for Bradley. “Educational facilities are a high-priority market for Bradley, so it’s exciting to be recognized for a multi-user lavatory that we designed to improve the hand washing experience of students and staff, while simplifying cleaning and maintenance for schools.”
