Bosch Rexroth to Exhibit Latest Automation and Assembly Technology at ATX West 2015

The Drive Control Company will display its latest systems for automation and assembly productivity in booth 4400 at ATX West in Anaheim, February 10-12.

Bosch Rexroth will present its latest technology for automation and assembly at the 2015 Automation Technology Expo West. The company will be exhibiting in booth 4400 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, February 10-12. A full online press kit will be available at www.boschrexroth-us.com/presskits.

The booth will show a range of highlights, including manual production systems, fastening tools, highly flexible conveyor and Cartesian motion transport systems, new machine programming functionality, and more. Displays and interactive demonstrations will include TSplus assembly conveyors and VarioFlow plus flexible conveyors, assembly production tools, Mechatronics @ Work with cabinet-free controls and Rexroth’s GoTo quick delivery program.

TSplus assembly conveyor

The TSplus assembly conveyor improves manufacturing productivity and product quality while minimizing downtime. The workpiece pallet-based, non-synchronous conveyor offers maximum assembly flexibility with modular and pre-engineered components. Users can choose from numerous conveying media and pallet sizes, and an extensive range of positioning and transfer modules.

Rexroth’s booth will include a live TSplus conveyor demonstration shown as a complete assembly line solution with drives, controller, I/O, pneumatics and Sercos and Profinet communication.

VarioFlow plus chain conveyor system

The new VarioFlow plus chain conveyor system, which offers simplicity, flexibility and quiet operation, is a versatile, high-performance and standardized system ideal for achieving a rapid time-to-market. It features fast and smooth assembly, economical hardware, compact drives, minimized noise and wear, and efficient Rexroth MTpro planning software with Layout Designer. With VarioFlow plus, users can easily configure individual, space-saving solutions for complex transportation tasks, even in particularly difficult environments.

Production and power tools

For assembly of everything from dishwashers to wind turbines, Bosch Production Tools, Bosch Power Tools and Rexroth Tightening Systems are secure, reliable and accurate. Tightening products are designed to withstand a million maintenance-free tightening cycles under full load for high-volume, high-quality operations and minimal downtime. Live demonstrations will include real-time tightening sequences with results shown on a mobile tablet.

Cartesian Motion with Open Core Engineering

Rexroth’s EasyHandling Cartesian Motion System (CMS) features simplified design and installation. Users can order pre-configured, ready-to-install components to create versatile handling systems for pick-and-place, packaging and other applications. Configurations come complete with linear modules, servomotors, drives, cables, cable management and mounting hardware.

A dynamic model will simulate different assembly processes using pre-configured electric drives and controls, linear modules and aluminum structural framing components. The machine will be controlled by National Instruments’ LabVIEW™ with Ethernet communication and will feature Rexroth’s Open Core seamless programming interface and remote diagnostics capabilities from a mobile tablet application.

GoTo focused delivery kiosk

With Rexroth’s recently expanded GoTo Focused Delivery Program, customers can expect fast shipping on a broader range of items including electric drives and controls, hydraulics, linear motion and aluminum structural framing products. The program offers industry-best delivery times and competitive pricing.

Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss GoTo with experts from Rexroth and Valin (San Jose, CA, www.Valin.com), a Rexroth distributor that builds workstations and lean production materials. This distributor partnership is part of a larger model, wherein Rexroth works with regional distributors to improve local design and build capabilities and better serve customers in any location.
