Bosch Rexroth to Exhibit Latest Assembly and Handling Technology at the ASSEMBLY Show 2015

The Drive Control Company will display its latest systems for assembly flexibility and productivity in booth 419 at The ASSEMBLY Show in Rosemont, IL, October 27-29.

Bosch Rexroth will present its latest technology for assembly and handling applications at The ASSEMBLY Show 2015. The company will be exhibiting in booth 419 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, October 27-29.

The booth will showcase a range of technology exhibits, including machine controls and new machine programming functionality, linear modules, fastening tools, highly flexible conveyors, Cartesian motion handling systems and more. Displays and interactive demonstrations will include Rexroth TSplus assembly conveyors and VarioFlow plus flexible conveyors and assembly production tools.

Open Core Mechatronics

A special new handling system exhibit will be presented: Rexroth Open Core Mechatronics Demo. This multi-axis Cartesian motion pick-and-place demo is controlled by Rexroth's groundbreaking Open Core Engineering automation software platform.

The Open Mechatronics Demo features the latest Rexroth linear motion technology, including the new generation of EMC electromechanical cylinders and the IMS-I integrated measuring system, and shows how a programmer can use VBA in Microsoft Excel to communicate directly with an intelligent drive to create motion sequences—eliminating the need for a PLC.

TSplus assembly conveyor

The TSplus assembly conveyor improves manufacturing productivity and product quality while minimizing downtime. The workpiece pallet-based, non-synchronous conveyor offers maximum assembly flexibility with modular and pre-engineered components. Users can choose from numerous conveying media, pallet sizes and an extensive range of positioning and transfer modules.

Rexroth's booth will include a live TSplus conveyor demonstration shown as a complete assembly line solution with drives, controller, I/O, pneumatics and Sercos and Profinet communication.

VarioFlow plus chain conveyor system

The new VarioFlow plus chain conveyor system, which offers simplicity, flexibility and quiet operation, is a versatile, high-performance and standardized system ideal for achieving a rapid time-to-market. It features fast and smooth assembly, economical hardware, compact drives, minimized noise and wear, and efficient Rexroth MTpro planning software with Layout Designer. With VarioFlow plus, users can easily configure individual, space-saving solutions for complex transportation tasks, even in particularly difficult environments.

Production and power tools

For assembly of everything from dishwashers and refrigerators to automobiles and airplanes, Bosch Production Tools, Bosch Power Tools and Rexroth Tightening Systems are secure, reliable and accurate. Tightening products are designed to withstand a million maintenance-free tightening cycles under full load for high-volume, high-quality operations and minimal downtime. Live demonstrations will include real-time tightening sequences with results shown on a mobile tablet.

Cartesian Motion with EasyHandling solution

Rexroth's EasyHandling Cartesian Motion System (CMS) features simplified design and installation. Users can order pre-configured, ready-to-install components to create versatile handling systems for pick-and-place, packaging and other applications. Configurations come complete with linear modules, servomotors, drives, cables, cable management and mounting hardware.
