New Unique Boron Nitride Aerosol Lubricoat®-NF -- Nonflammable Solvent-Based Aerosol Spray
ZYP Coatings, Inc. announces its new, unique Boron Nitride Aerosol Lubricoat®-NF as a nonflammable aerosol spray based on the Necosolv™ non-flammable solvent system with the new, “green” Solstice™ HFO-1234-ze propellant. Thus, the useful properties of Boron Nitride (BN) can be achieved with a nonflammable, fast-drying solvent-based aerosol-can. Coatings are applied at room temperature and dried, after which they can be used from cryogenic temperatures up to 1000 C in air, 1400 C in vacuum, and 1800 C in inert /nitrogen atmospheres. Boron Nitride is chemically inert – nonreactive/nonwetting with most molten metals, glasses, and slags – providing non-stick, release, and barrier-layers to reactive materials. With our new nonflammable aerosol, thin/uniform fast-drying layers can readily be applied to most any substrate.
