Teledyne Continental specifically recommends the unit in its Service Bulletin SB03-3 which details borescope inspection for a wide range of maintenance protocols, including inspection of internal cylinder surfaces, the combustion chamber, exhaust/intake valve faces, cylinder bores, and piston heads.
