Original Press Release:

Detroit Radiator Corporation to Introduce Its New POWERCOOL® Radiator at the Mid-America Trucking Show 2015

Romulus, Michigan – Detroit Radiator Corporation, a premier manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket cooling product solutions serving the heavy duty transportation, commercial, industrial, and agricultural industries, is excited to introduce its new POWERCOOL® Radiator at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) 2015 (Kentucky Expo Center, Louisville, Kentucky).

Those in the trucking industry remember when the lifespan of a bolt-on radiator was 6-8 years. Unfortunately, this came to an abrupt end when the industry switched to using a plastic and aluminum constructed radiator with a reduced lifespan of only 3-4 years. There wasn’t anything that could be done about it... that is, until now!

Always on the cutting edge, Detroit Radiator Corporation has changed the game, by being first in its industry to create POWERCOOL®, a new more durable and sustainable, bolt-on style radiator to replace the plastic and aluminum radiator. The company-branded, POWERCOOL®, will be available beginning on March 30, 2015.

Using tried and true bolt-on technology, Detroit Radiator Corporation has engineered a new way of replacing a plastic/aluminum radiator and frame into one intergrated bolt-on complete unit. Thus, doubling the durability and bringing back the glory days of a 7-8 year radiator lifespan.

"It is extremely rewarding for us to be able to offer a more sustainable radiator with advanced technology to an industry full of hardworking people spending long hours on the road," said Randy Pruitt, CEO, Detroit Radiator Corporation. "We are committed to successfully addressing the most pressing challenges facing cooling systems within the heavy-duty transportation industry, "added Pruitt.

Camera crews from both The George & The Wendy Show and from Truck Drivers Health.org, where Detroit Radiator Corporation is a sponsor, will be covering the POWERCOOL® reveal on Friday, March 27 at 9:30am. Both crews will begin at the Truck Drivers Health.org exhibit (#32010) and end at the Detroit Radiator Corporation exhibit (#32335).

Detroit Radiator Corporation‘s other company-branded products include the following:

POWERMAX® Charge Air Cooler

AMT™ Surge Tank

Dura-Core™ Core

Revolution Series ERG Coolers™

Ultra-Core™ Core

Besides POWERCOOL®, Detroit Radiator Corporation‘s exhibit will also highlights its award-winning, 18-wheeler truck & trailer, “DR•COOL” and showcases many of its aftermarket cooling product solutions, brochures, along with awards, sponsorship memorabilia, company history, and video presentations (including a DR•COOL customization video, created by Outcast Kustoms that was featured on the show, Outcast Kustoms on Velocity by Discovery). There will be cool giveaways and fun basketball hoop contests with lots of prizes. Key company representatives will be on hand to answer questions.
