Bluff Manufacturing to Feature Innovative DuraSweeper® at APWA Snow Show 2016

FORT WORTH, TX – Bluff Manufacturing, will be showcasing the DuraSweeper, an innovative way to clear snow from the tops of commercial vehicles, protect drivers on the roads and save fuel at the American Public Works Association (APWA) North American Snow Conference May 22-15 in Hartford, Connecticut.

Known as the "show for snow," the annual conference brings together more than 2,000 snowfighters from every corner of the winter maintenance community. The 2016 APWA Conference features an exhibit floor packed with the newest equipment and products, quality education programs and technical tours, and opportunities to exchange ideas with manufacturers, distributors, consultants and other public works professionals.

DuraSweeper has a unique process for removing snow from commercial vehicle rooftops while minimizing risk of damage. DuraSweeper's automatic circuitry senses barriers on the rooftop and adjusts to optimally remove snow. This unique capability also allows for manual and automatic shutoff.

Why Remove Snow from the Top of Fleets?

 • Fuel savings - a snow load on the top of a vehicle can decrease fuel efficiency from 2-8%.

 • Safety - 14 states have legislation regarding the removal of snow from vehicle rooftops.

 • Community stewardship - keep a company's reputation and concern for safety a top priority.

The DuraSweeper will help with fuel efficiency and ensure safe roads, while minimizing the liability for truck owners.

"We are proud to be a new exhibitor and support the APWA Snow Show, " says Andrea Curreri, President of Bluff Manufacturing. "Our product is seen throughout the country to help clean snow from fleets. We are thrilled to be showing this to the Public Works community.
