BlueHornet Networks Releases Enhanced Version of its E-Mail Marketing Suite

Provides expanded global capabilities, reporting and integrations with best-of-breed online marketing tools

MINNEAPOLIS-BlueHornet Networks, Inc., a leading provider of e-mail marketing solutions and subsidiary of Digital River, Inc. (NASDAQ:DRIV), today announced the release of an enhanced version of its e-Marketing Suite (eMS). The newly released eMS 4.0, an upgrade to BlueHornet's advanced e-mail marketing application, offers online merchants added marketing insights into customer behavior through expanded global capabilities, more robust reporting features and deeper integrations with best-of-breed online marketing tools.

With BlueHornet's eMS 4.0, online merchants now have access to:

Built-in SureSend(TM) e-mail delivery testing and reports to easily diagnose and correct potential delivery issues before sending e-mails to their entire recipient list;
Multi-byte e-mail header encoding to more effectively reach non-English speakers with "From" and "Subject" line content that is displayed in international language character sets; Deeper integration with leading Web analytics providers so e-mail up-sells, cross sells and promotional offers can be more effectively targeted to a customer's Web site behaviors; Advanced data and reporting that shows when customers engage more than once with a particular e-mail or component within a message; An easy-to-view, graphic that overlays an e-mail and displays the performance statistics of the links within the message; and Sent message statistic exports in delimited or XML formats, so marketers can more easily perform offline analysis of their e-mail campaign data.

"Gaining sharper insight into customer behavior is a universal marketing need," said Chuck Davis, vice president of Digital River's BlueHornet division. "The enhanced global capabilities, reporting and integration now available with eMS 4.0 allow our clients to improve message relevance, foster mutually beneficial relationships and sell smarter across worldwide geographies. Our new e-mail marketing features focus squarely on providing marketers better tools to increase online revenue."

The reporting and integration enhancements provided by BlueHornet's eMS 4.0 release also feed directly into Digital River's marketStudio(TM) integrated e-marketing toolset. marketStudio, which was introduced in September of 2006, offers marketing executives a single, Web-based view into the performance of their e-commerce, Web analytics, e-mail, keyword bid management and affiliate programs. By using marketStudio, marketers can accurately measure and compare the performance of their online marketing programs to determine real-time ROI and optimize their marketing spending.
