Blow-Moulder/Filler Monobloc for the Low Output Range

Krones shares a stand with Kosme

Blue and orange united: at the Emballage in Paris, Krones AG, Neutraubling, Germany, will for the first time be sharing a stand with its subsidiary Kosme. For visitors, this means that the entire output range encountered in the beverage industry is covered in full. Together with Kosme, Krones is showcasing its very latest filling and packaging solutions for both small and mid-tier bottlers, and for the high output category as well.

Kosme is now offering the tried-and-tested Synchroblock in a version one size smaller. At the Emballage, Kosme is premiering the monobloc with a four-part KSB 4R stretch blow-moulding machine as well, for an output of up to 8,000 containers an hour. Hitherto, the Synchroblock had been available only featuring the KSB 6R with six blow-moulding stations. Obviating the need for air conveyors, the Synchroblock links the stretch blow-moulding operation for PET containers directly to the filler, which with its VKP filling valves ensures a perfect, foam-minimised filling operation. The monobloc synchronisation simplifies the line's layout, reduces the client's costs, saves on energy and water, permits faster change-over routines, and downsizes the amount of maintenance required in general. The Synchroblock can be used for soft drinks, still water and for beer as well.

Ultra-flexible cold-glue labeller

Krones has also resuscitated a field-proven, ultra-flexible labeller for the spirits, still and sparkling wine sectors, which will be on show at the Emballage: the Variomatic cold-glue labeller can be fitted with up to four labelling stations, and depending on the model involved can dress between 6,000 and 18,000 containers an hour. A separate height-adjustable station is used for each label, containing only a few handling parts, so changing over to another container or label takes next to no time. Several different label formats can be handled by one and the same station without having to change the gripper cylinder. The change-over times can be reduced still further by using multi-functional clamping starwheels. Thanks to its modularised construction, the Variomatic ensures exceptionally affordable and efficient application of the numerous dress variants encountered in bottling facilities. Other exhibits include a Kosme Flexa modularised machine and a Krones Contipure module.
