Blanking Plate
INSERTA(TM) Blanking Plates are one of the specialty flange plates used to give greater flexibility in assembly of INSERTA(TM) Modular Valves and Connectors, 4-Bolt Flange Type. The Blanking plates are made with a dome that induces stresses in the plate that are several times greater than anticipated fluid's maximum opposing pressure stress. The dome is installed facing the fluid side that is to become pressurized. These plates range in size from 1/8' to 2" and are made of steel.
