Ricoh Brings Big Capabilities in Small Footprint with New Black and White MFP

RICOH MP 305SPF helps unify and streamline workflows throughout the organization, while providing 11" x 17" printing, faxing, copying and scanning capabilities in a device that comfortably fits on a desktop

MALVERN, Pa., -- Ricoh USA, Inc. today unveiled its latest device to help offices and businesses streamline their workflows and do more from one, centralized device. The ENERGY STAR® certified and EPEAT® Silver rated* RICOH MP 305SPF digital multifunction printer (MFP) helps users manage multiple jobs of varying sizes seamlessly from their desktops. Ricoh's new Workstyle Innovation Technology, the next generation of office automation, powers a next-generation 10.1" Wide Super VGA Smart Operation Panel to simplify workflows, set customized shortcuts and toggle between jobs with the same gestures used on smartphones and tablets - including pinching, flicking and swiping.

In work environments where presentations and meetings occur frequently, the ability to print, copy, fax and scan 11" x 17" jobs is occasionally necessary. Yet, devices that meet this requirement have historically been too large and too loud to fit on a front desk or counter areas within retail environments, construction sites or small businesses. Despite its small footprint, the RICOH MP 305SPF can print on 11" x 17" paper (A3), and also help users stay focused on their day jobs with features such as a low-noise mode for whisper-like operation.

"In the new world of work, streamlining everything from workflows to real estate utilization is paramount," said John Brophy, Vice President, Product Marketing, Ricoh USA, Inc. "Workstyle Innovation Technology comprises the building blocks necessary to make these needs a reality for our customers. The intelligent design of the RICOH MP 305SPF delivers the capabilities modern businesses need while minimizing footprint requirements, IT burden, and complexity - essential components to overcoming today's business challenges."

The RICOH MP 305SPF's next-generation Smart Operation Panel further empowers users to collaborate efficiently and effectively, enabling scanning to a variety of locations, and copying, printing and faxing through a few quick and easy clicks. By unifying these capabilities in one compact device, workflows are further streamlined reducing the need to move from device to device to get tasks done. Additionally, IT and supply costs are reduced when fewer devices need to be monitored, maintained and managed.

With speeds of up to 30 black-and-white prints/copies per minute, the RICOH MP 305SPF enables users to do more in less time, whether directly from the MFP or from other mobile devices. With Ricoh's Smart Device Connector app, workers can seamlessly integrate mobile devices, share information between other Ricoh devices and access information stored securely in the cloud.
