SuperSeal® Duct Butter Now in Seamless Aluminum Cans



DENVER, Colo. September 23, 2002 - SuperSeal® Duct Butter from Johns Manville now comes in a seamless aerosol can that will not leak or corrode, dramatically increasing its shelf life and stability.

The formulation for SuperSeal's black aerosol foam has been improved as well. The new product retains its shape and volume after curing is completed, resulting in better finished appearance.

SuperSeal Duct Butter can be used for spot and edge repair of ductboard or liner. It also can be used to seal gaps between liner sections or fittings. SuperSeal's high R-value maintains the thermal integrity of the insulation it is used to seal.
