Binks Offers Range of Pumps for Varied Finishing Applications

December, 2006 - Glendale Heights, IL -- Binks offers a full range of spray finishing pumps, each designed for maximum durability and dependability.

The Binks Exel(TM) Pump -- used for catalyzed coatings, high solids coatings, abrasive materials, solvent- and water-borne fluids, moisture sensitive materials and UV-cure coatings - are self-priming and offer accessible parts replacement. (Cartridge and spool valves are easily unbolted for service, translating into less maintenance and downtime and longer wear part service life).

The Exel pumps come standard with hard chrome plated stainless steel pistons with pressure loaded wiper seals, no-spring pilot valves, a choice of aluminum or stainless steel wetted parts and are floor, wall or drum mountable.

The Binks Pogo(TM) Pump - used for high volume delivery of low to medium viscosity coatings and adhesives - features a two-ball double-acting pump design that provides better priming of the foot-valve and delivers material on both the up and down stroke. The Pogo pump also offers a 2" air motor.

The Binks Boss(TM) Pump - specifically designed to handle abrasive filled materials when dispensing polyester or vinyl resins - offers continuous operation, high-volume capability and lower maintenance. This empowers FRP product companies to maintain aggressive production schedules.

The Boss features reversible sharp-edge carbide seats for long life, heavy hard chrome plated cylinder and rod for extended use, spring load u-cups with no packings to adjust, removable foot valve and cylinder for easy service, and an integrated muffler in the air motor for quiet operation.

The Binks Raptor(TM) Pump works with lacquers, enamels, stains, sealers and top coats. It can spray light to heavy viscosity materials, making it one of the most flexible pumps in the industry.

Used in conjunction with the Binks AA 1500 Air Assisted Airless Spray Gun, the Raptor outfit offers the operator a highly efficient spray finishing combination; a combination that accommodates multi-application use while improving finish quality and efficiency.

Binks pioneered the development of liquid spray finishing technology over 100 years ago and continues to set the standards for industrial spray finishing.
