New Release of Privia from SpringCM Adds Support for Salesforce.com AppExchange
Latest Version of Leading Bid and Proposal Lifecycle Management Solution Simplifies Data Exchange with Leading CRM Application and Adds Other Productivity Enhancements
STERLING, Va., Aug. 27 / / - SpringCM(TM) Inc, the leader in on-demand document management and workflow, announced today the availability of significant enhancements in a new version of Privia, its industry-leading bid and proposal lifecycle management solution. The highlight of this version is the integration with Salesforce CRM that simplifies information exchange between the two systems and significantly enhances opportunity-management capabilities while increasing efficiencies. The new version of Privia integrated with Salesforce CRM is now available on the Force.com AppExchange at http://salesforce.com/appexchange.
Opportunity information is typically captured in CRM systems such as Salesforce CRM. If an organization decides to pursue a sales opportunity, the information typically needs to be manually re-entered into a proposal management system, often leading to errors, delays and missing information. Through this integration, at the click of a button any data related to an opportunity can be quickly mapped to Privia and imported either individually or in groups. Furthermore, the specific fields that need to be exchanged can be selected individually, enabling a high level of relevancy based upon roles within an organization.
"Thousands of salesforce.com customers are using the Force.com AppExchange to extend SaaS applications throughout their enterprises," said Clarence So, chief marketing officer at salesforce.com. "As critical sales opportunity information is captured within Salesforce CRM, customers can now use SpringCM's Privia to seamlessly take advantage of this data in the proposal process while transferring status information back to the opportunity manager as needed. The tight integration between SpringCM and Salesforce CRM will drive customer success through efficiency gains and improved information management in the proposal process."
"As anyone involved in responding to complex proposals knows, the right opportunity information and automation of repetitive tasks are critical to increasing win rates," said Steve Maier, vice president and general manager of the Government Solutions Division of SpringCM. "Through tight integration with Salesforce CRM, the latest version of Privia is a part of our ongoing commitment to make the capture and proposal management process easier and more efficient for our customers while increasing the quality of proposals."
Other productivity enhancement features of the new release include:
- Label & Field Editor with show/hide capabilities, giving users the
ability to rename fields and dynamically add new fields to enhance
relevancy and context of information in proposals
- Documented XML Web Services API with support for Dashboard (read-only)
and Manager (update) access extended to support new User-Defined
Database Fields feature
- Composite yet understandable view of pipeline and opportunity data for
easier situational awareness and decision-making
- Faster search and file upload capabilities
"We share much of our account and opportunity information between Privia and Salesforce CRM," said Jason S. Erdman, director of business development at The Analysis Corporation. "Until the release of this automated data exchange capability from SpringCM, we had to manually enter data into both systems while trying to ensure each system had the same, up-to-date information. This manual process was not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. Now we can seamlessly exchange data between the two solutions, which will help us save time and ensure consistent data. We estimate we will save approximately eight hours per week with this new capability."
Maintaining its commitment to delivering the best delivery model to its customers, SpringCM offers the new version of Privia as either on-premises or via Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
