Original Press Release:

High Accuracy, Durable Biaxial Inclinometer Designed to Mount in 23mm Cylinder

The Jewell LCF-196 Inclinometer is a high accuracy sensor designed for applications when high levels of shock and vibration are present. This two-axis tilt sensor is a 22 mm stainless steel package characterized by excellent turn-on-repeatability and very low hysteresis. The LCF can be used effectively in geophysical measurement, earth movement monitoring, oil and gas well monitoring, dam monitoring, heavy construction, grading, ship and barge leveling, deviation
surveys, continuous casting, and weapons control leveling. The LCF-196 is a ±14.5° to ±90° device. Lower ranges are available with customization.

The LCF-196 provides Full Range Output (FRO) of ±5.0 VDC ±1%; bias temp. sensitivity of less than 50µg/°C; and nonlinearity of less than 0.05% full range. Units have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C and survival temperature range of -60°C to +90°C. Units resist shock to 500G, 0.001 sec, and vibration to 10 grms. Seals meet MIL-STD 202, Method 112.
